On my day book, I decided to put pictures of my sorority because it is a huge part of my life. I have made so many close friendships because of my sorority. I also put a picture of a pit bull, because I own a pit bull, and he is the love of my life. He is basically my child, and I get offended when people speak bad about them. He is the sweetest, most well tempered dog I have ever met. I put a turtle just to show another animal, because I love animals. This project was so much fun. Now people get to learn a little bit about me just by looking at my day book. I thought it was a good idea to put the clear tape over the pictures. At first I wasn't sure how to do it, but I asked the girl next to me, and she helped me. I couldn't make the tape smooth over the pictures. It kept getting bubbles in it. But I ended up figuring it out, and I think it looks great. I love when Lacy gives us projects like this, we learn things we didn't even realize we were learning.
Hey Autumn! I thought I would reply to your blog post becaue well I did all last semester why not? I liked this part of class as well. I reminded me when I was in like 2nd grade and got to decorate my folder with things that described me. It's pretty cool to still be able to do that in college classes.
ReplyDeleteI had trouble with the tape part to! Took a while to get it down all smooth. I like how you gave the definition to inquiry cause I really do not know what the word means. I so understand what you mean about people insulting your dog btw.
ReplyDeleteI like the design of your blog, very creative and colorful but you might want to change the color font of your comments because you cant see what other people are saying. I also like the way you decorated your daybook.

I thought this assignment was a great way to get to know one another as well. An animal lover myself, I think incorporating those images, especially of the pit bull, was a great way to display that.
