I decided to do a photo essay. I'm not sure how long photo essays are because this is the first one I've ever done. It took me forever because Imovie is ridiculously hard to use. I wanted the viewer to get each side of pit bulls, and how people THINK they are, and how media portrays them. There were so many things I wanted to put into the video, and so much more text, but I decided it was a photo essay and shouldn't have to much text. Maybe in my next mini project I can add more text. Overall I think it came out pretty good, and the song goes along perfect with the pictures and the point I was getting at.
This was very good Autumn!!!! I absolutely love the video! I myself have a change of heart for pit bulls now from being chased by one a few years ago! My bf has a pit bull and loves her to death and she is also a house dog and I was so worried about that but I see now that as long as it is with the "right" owner they wont be viscous as they media portray them to be.
Awww the video came out great! What caught my attention was the display you had on the video. First thing I thought was "ah the dog is attacking her/him". But then after seeing the video, I realized I stereotyped the pitbull.
This was a very good project. I agree that the song was a good fit and the images really sent a message. I love how you included images of you with your dog in the video, it really helps to show how loving them can be.
I loved the video. It was very touching and i loved how you made it personal too by adding your personal pics with your dog. You have really opened my eyes and changed my image about pitbulls!
Your video is really accurate. I love pit bulls and typically Labs are portrayed as caring dogs, but when I was younger I was attacked by one and no one made a big deal out of it. This is a really interesting topic and I'm happy you're telling more people about this situation.
